Here is what this year's audience is saying:

"Going to A Christmas Carol has been a family tradition for years, and this
year's show was better than ever! What better way to start the Christmas
season, and get into the spirit of Christmas than with old Scrooge and his
colorful cast of characters, right along with my own family and
friends!"-Christina Pond

"This year's New Stage production of A Christmas Carol is a fine example of
the reason for theatre. In an age when television, the internet and a
barrage of noise includes Christmas music, it is important to relive the
story of selfish versus selfless behavior. Much of modern theatre does not
give conclusions to questions presented. This work is a gentle reminder of
why we celebrate Christmas. I readily endorse this work for you and your
family."-Dr. Lou Campbell

"Each member of our family had a very enjoyable time. It was our first New
Stage family production. We were actually very impressed with the entire
presentation. Thank you for the season joy!"-Cynthia Newland

So come on out and join in the family fun! Also, don't forget that Santa
will be visiting New Stage after the 10 a.m performance on Saturday,
December 16.

Unframed Presents The Mercy Seat-

The Mercy Seat by Neil Labute opens Thursday, December 7 at New Stage
Theatre. And runs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights through December
16, 2006 for a six performance run. In a time of national tragedy, the world
changes overnight. On September 12, 2001, two lovers discover choices now
available to them in an existence different from the one they knew just the
day before. This story continues the fascination with the realities of the
war between the sexes and explores whether one can be truly opportunistic in
a time of universal selflessness. (For adults only:

mature subject matter) Tickets are $5 and available at the door-cash or

check only. The Mercy Seat is part of New Stage Theatre's late night

begins at 10:00 p.m. each night in the Hewes Room.
